Team Focus MTB 2010/2011: May 2010

NPS # 3, and win # 2. Great racing in Belfast on Sunday. Lady Dixon Park was the venue, set in the grounds of an old house, with rolling lawns and great forests. XMTB made the best of the terrain, lots of fast singletrack, on the limit corners and plenty of kickers.

Of the elites went, 8 laps…..this would be tough, non stop pedaling. I got the holeshot in the ST, and Paul and super triathlete Adam had a 5 sec gap on the way out….not what I wanted. The main rivals Evan and Richi were working together!

On we went, the gap increased throughout the race, took it easy midrace, and gave it a kick at the end to lock in a good last lap…..comfortable win.

The Raven was incredible, mega fast. New 1*9 worked great on that course.

Really enjoyed the race, great crowd, great organization, great race course….well done XMTB.
